Changing Bullets and Font Styles

Bullet and font styles can be altered to suit the presenter's needs. The best way to change bullet and font styles is within Master slides so that all the slides within the presentation will have the same style.

To change Bullet Style, select the body text area by clicking within the placeholder. Go to Format and then click on Bullets and Numbering. A dialog window will appear like the one below:

Double-click on the desired style shown in the window or click on the Character button to select a different style.

You can also adjust the Color and Size as well by typing the desired number or clicking on the corresponding drop-down menu arrows.

If you just want a particular bullet style to apply to a line of text, click in the line right after the bullet and perform the operations mentioned above.

To change Font Style, select the text area by clicking within the placeholder. Go to Format and click on Font. A Font dialog box will appear. Things you can manipulate here are the Font, Font Style, Size, Color, and Effects (e.g., underline, shadow, emboss). Remember that everything you change in the Master Slide will affect the rest of the presentation.

If you just want to change a particular word or phrase, then highlight that word or phrase before going to the Font window.
