Word Count is a feature that gives you statistical data concerning your document
such as the number of pages, words, characters (with and without spaces), paragraphs,
and lines. This tool is handy when you need to keep the document's length to
a certain number of words.
To start Word Count, click on Tools and then on Word Count. The function will start automatically and a window will appear with the total numbers.
Word Count can also total up the information found in Footnotes and Endnotes during its statistical review. Just click on the box next to the Footnotes and Endnotes option and Word will automatically recount.
