Fonts are type styles that vary in appearance depending upon the style you choose. Once the font has been selected, there are several things you can do to manipulate its appearance.

First, you can Bold, Italicize, and Underline text. To Bold text, select the word or words you want with the mouse. On the Format Toolbar, click the Bold button and your text will be in bold. To Italicize, go to the Format Toolbar and click on the Italicize button. Finally, if you want to Underline text, select the passage and click the Underline button on the Format Toolbar. If you do not like what you have done, click on EDIT and choose Undo (or use the Undo button on the Toolbar).

You can also change the font typeface and font size using the Format toolbar.
