WORD PROCESSING
Using Templates and Wizards

Templates are popular document styles that have been pre-designed for certain word-processing needs. These templates include letters, memos, FAX cover sheets, reports, Web pages, and other document styles. Wizards, on the other hand, are tools to help you polish document templates. They do not help you with everything such as giving you a written business letter. However, Wizards do help you go through the process of creating documents step-by-step.

To use a template, go to File and select New. A New window will appear with several tabs such as General, Letters and Faxes, Memos, Other Documents, Web Pages, etc. Select a tab and click on a template you want. If you want to use a Wizard, click on an icon that mentions Wizard (e.g., Memo Wizard, Web Page Wizard) and follow the directions given to you.
