WORD PROCESSING
Typing Text

When you first start Word, you will see a blank document with the insertion point and end of document line at the top. To begin, just start typing.

The insertion point will move to the right as you type. If you make a mistake, press BACKSPACE to delete the characters. The insertion point moves as you type.

When you want to begin a new paragraph or insert a blank line, press ENTER. Pressing ENTER will insert a hidden paragraph marker and moves the insertion point to the beginning of the next line.

As the page fills up with text, Word automatically inserts a break and creates a new page. If you want to force a page break, use the CTRL+ENTER key combination.
