About WBLISS for Instructional Technology


WBLISS (Web-Based Learning and Instruction Support System) is an electronic performance support system (EPSS) designed to assist students in learning various instructional technologies and processes.

WBLISS is consisted of six modules: Computer Systems, Instructional Design, Multimedia Development, Internet, Web Page Design and Development, and Technology Planning. Each module is designed to guide the students of the system in the learning and development of skills in that area. Currently, only Web Page Design and Development module is available on the system. Other modules will be made available at a later time.

Once you are in the system, several resources and tools are available to assist you in learning the skills and mastering the competencies. These include detailed procedures, self-assessment tool, keyword search, topic search, a glossary of terms, index, tips, and information resources which will tell you more about various aspects of the process.

To quit using WBLISS, simply go to the "File" menu in your Web browser and pull down to "Exit."
